Also in very good shape, full spare parts tube. The reel comes with the original leather etui. The'MOD SG' engraving on the left side plate was then dropped after a short time which makes those reels very rare and special. The reel then made it's'official' debut in the 1953'Napp o Nytt' ABU's Swedish catalogue. The MODEL SG is one of the earliest versions of the Ambassadeur reel and the initial deliveries were made late in 1952. The MODEL SG reels do not have a number on the reel foot and come with all-grey spool and starwheel brake.

The reel has the typical dark-red color of the earliest Ambassadeur reels. more there are a few nicks on the rims(see pictures) The reel does not show any corrosion and works perfectly mechanically.
